REMEMBER JANAYE PENDER

In the quiet moments of reflection, we find solace in the memories of those we have loved and lost. We gather to honor the beautiful life of Janaye Pender, a soul whose light continues to shine brightly in our hearts.

Janaye was more than a friend; she was a beacon of warmth and kindness, illuminating the lives of all who crossed her path. Her laughter was infectious, her smile radiant, and her spirit, indomitable. In the wake of her passing, we find comfort in the memories we shared and the legacy she leaves behind.

Born on November 17, 1992, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee, Janaye brought joy and laughter into the world from the moment she entered it. Raised in the vibrant neighborhoods of West and North Nashville, she attended Pearl Cohn High School, where she excelled in academics, sports, and music. Her presence on the track team, in the sorority, and in the marching band left an indelible mark on her peers and teachers alike.

After high school, Janaye embarked on a journey of self-discovery, venturing south to Alabama A&M University. There, amidst the bustling campus life, she forged lifelong friendships and touched hearts with her infectious energy and genuine compassion. Janaye had a knack for bringing people together, bridging divides with her magnetic personality and unwavering positivity.

Janaye's legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit remains ever-present, guiding us through life's joys and sorrows. In the gentle breeze that rustles through the trees and the laughter that echoes in the air, we feel her presence, a comforting reminder that she is never truly gone.

As we honor Janaye's memory, let us cherish the moments we shared and the love we continue to carry in our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her legacy inspire us to live each day with kindness, compassion, and boundless joy.

Forever remembered, forever loved, Forever Janaye.
